Ne Zha 2 (2025) continues the mythic adventure from the blockbuster 2019 film. After the climactic battle of the first movie, Ne Zha and Ao Bing’s souls survive, but their bodies are destroyed. To save them, Master Taiyi Zhenren sacrifices the Sacred Seven-Lotus to rebuild their bodies—though the new forms are fragile.
Meanwhile, Ao Guang believes his son Ao Bing has died and orders Shen Gongbao to attack Chentang Pass, igniting a major conflict between celestial forces and dragon clans. To prevent a full-scale war, an unusual pact is created: Ne Zha and Ao Bing must share one body for seven days and complete three divine trials. Only by passing these trials can they earn immortal status and obtain the elixir needed to restore the Sacred Seven-Lotus, which is key to fully reviving Ao Bing.
During their trials, the pair uncover a deeper conspiracy orchestrated by the Chan Sect and its leader Wuliang — the true masterminds behind the fall of Chentang Pass.
